Autumn in New England

Hi everyone. 


I hope you all had a wonderful, long weekend!  This weekend I noticed that the temperatures are really changing and the days are becoming shorter.  It is definately fall.  I love this time of year for many reasons.  I love the cool temperatures and the nice breezes after the hot summer.  I love the foliage, the leaves changing color.  In September we start to see autumn fruits and vegetables in the stores and on the farms. There are apples, pumpkins and all kinds of squash.  Apple cider is a favorite as well.  It is a time of harvest and preparation for a long and cold winter.  Some of my favorite holidays are in the fall including Halloween and Thanksgiving.

What do you like about this time of year?  Is fall the same in your countries?  What are some typcial foods or holidays this time of year? How do you celebrate this time of year now in New England?

    I like the autumn. I like the tree changing the colors. In my country is not diferent. Always is hot only in December a little be cold for the rain. I like in New England for many reasons the year.

    Ms. Erin you look nice in this place this apples is delicios. I like the weather in this country in special winter because I look nice, in Autumn everything is nice because the leaves changing color. In my country it's no same in Honduras only is spring,summer but I like my country. I like the Dominica Republic, Puerto Rico, Honduras tipicial food are delicios I like Thanksgiving and Chrismas. I celebrate with my family in special with my beatiful son I love hin, His is my life and my two eyes

    Your pictures is very very funny...

    I love this time, because a like when the trees change the color is so beautiful and the weather is very nice.

    About my country is similar but the weather is the same as all the year. In my country there aren't typical foods in this season and no holidays.

    Well this time is my first time in this country and my husband said me in Thanksgivin day all your family are together and make a big dinner....

    I hope enjoy this season...

    In my country celebrate Thanksgiving day I cook the turkey, rice with gandules, pumkim pie, pasteles, and other candys. In christmas the family close together and enjoy the food, music, drink.

    I love christmas in special in my country because all family enjoy. I miss my family, friends and my country but I like America in special the liberty.

    My coments about your picture is natural and greet I think this apple is good you luck happy a like temperature hot when is hot I got too the beach I like when used litle clothes the foods cook spanish in my country celebre different holidays in february celebre carnaval all croutry the people used uglys clothes for my I like the summer is very excited when is summer used different pleces

    CHACAMPA

    In March I and my family went to CHACAPAMPA . That was :orange, appol, lemon, chirimoya, nispero,watermelo and my favorite chirimoya.
    In the mornig 10:00 a clock went to Santa river,we pushed water very play.
    The Sandays we ate "picante de cuy" this food my favorite was green color after in tha flor we satd and ate chirimoya mach chirimoya.
    In the afternoons my brotheres and sisthers went to pecap potetos and my father preparet the oven the piedras.
    This mont for my was very love.

    Your picture is very nice.This weekend is long.
    I did do my homework I went to visit my friend Albania.When I went to the park Ifelt
    the temperatures were realy changing. THe day was short. My home was very cool. My country oktober month is hot.I like outumn season. THe trees change color they are very nice.
    Season my country are same in Boston. THe septemberhas has meny Fruits and vegetables. There are apples oringe limon ect.
