Weather in Boston

I think about the snow is beatiful, when the snow fall the streets .The winter was alittle sad.
I felt happy when I saw the snow, I remember I walked in Downtown street sunday at night.
The first time in Boston was surprise for me because in my country the climate is tropical very different.


The weather in Boston is a little crazy because every day is different, one day is cold and later is hot.

In the moment I felt sad, I was homesick my family, my country, my people, the food.

First snow of October 2009

Yes, I remember the first time the snow. Was maravilloso waith calor nesy.I impresion the strees, the hauses, stres, cars every thing where wait calor. Cesar is 16 and Andres 11 year old.We played snow did bols and we threw, we ran. We where very happy.

In Massachusettes the temperatua is good, it is cool bat calefaction, or hat eir condition It"s ok. In Puno did cool dow - 0 the chidren daed. Puno is a dpta. of Peru limet at Bolivia.

My first time see snow

Well, this is my first time that i see the snow, all my life i ever think what i do when i see the snow beacuse in my country the weather is tropical, all the time is summer and it never snow fall.

I think about the snow and the winter time that is so beautiful, in this time i would like all my family near to me, because my friend told to me that in this time sometime somebody feel sad and homesick because your family is far away.

On sunday i can't saw the snow, i would like see the snow for first time, i hope get the oportunity of see when the snow falling again.

When i was came to U.S.A. i felt very stranger because i arrived on July when is summer time and i felt coold, i don't know why, but later was very very hot, how was in my country.

About the weather in MA i think is very hot only in summer time and the rest of seasons is very coold than the others state, but i like it, in summer time i like feel the hot of the days and in the winter time i like fell the breeze and the coold, is very nice...

The first snowfall of the year!!!

Good morning everyone!

Hopefully the computer lab is warm this morning.  I think it is supposed to get into the 60s today.  Can you believe it?  Sunday we had our first snowfall and today it is going to be beautiful!  Typical New England weather. 

In Vermont, where I grew up, it snows like crazy in the winter.  Right now the temperatures are in the 20s there, and we are only 3 hours away.  Here in Massachustts, it doesn't usually snow until the middle of November. On Sunday when I looked out my window and saw it snowing, I was very surprised!  I drove in the snow on Sunday afternoon.  It felt so strange.

This got me thinking about snow and growing up in the northeast.  Many of you grew up in warm, tropical climates without snow and now live in crazy New England where they say the weather can change every five minutes!

The FALL

I like this time a little because I don't have family in Boston,for me is homesick and depress.In my country the three no change the color is different.the food pumpkin pie and flan.the Halloween sometime Igo to triptych with my children and my friends...its a good night this day its more important for a diferent children.

Autumn in New England

Hi everyone. 

I hope you all had a wonderful, long weekend!  This weekend I noticed that the temperatures are really changing and the days are becoming shorter.  It is definately fall.  I love this time of year for many reasons.  I love the cool temperatures and the nice breezes after the hot summer.  I love the foliage, the leaves changing color.  In September we start to see autumn fruits and vegetables in the stores and on the farms. There are apples, pumpkins and all kinds of squash.  Apple cider is a favorite as well.  It is a time of harvest and preparation for a long and cold winter.  Some of my favorite holidays are in the fall including Halloween and Thanksgiving.

What do you like about this time of year?  Is fall the same in your countries?  What are some typcial foods or holidays this time of year? How do you celebrate this time of year now in New England?
