My name is Marleni I talk about my town I grew up in Cucuta this is beautiful place, is a important commercial center,you find big shopping malls where you can invest your money and have a good time. Cucuta is a great place to have fun and spend enjoyable time with family,there you will find friendly people and fun.There are many places where you can find excellent monuments representative of the history of my city. The city has the constitutional category of Special District, conforms the most active international border in South America and it's connected by roads with Bogota, Caracas and Cartagena. Its air terminal, the Camilo Daza International Airport is one of the most traveled the country. has a population of 1'298.187 inhabitants,The Battle of Cúcuta was one of the most important events of the 19th century, due it is part of the independence of Colombia and Venezuela. The Historic church of Cúcuta is in the locality of Villa del Rosario where Simón Bolívar, Francisco de Paula Santander and other important persons of the independence of Colombia and Venezuela reunited to sign the Constitution of Cúcuta .Cúcuta's economy is based primarily in industry and agriculture,The industry of the city is focused on mining, the production of milk, and the cement and construction material production.The mean temperature is 28.0 °C; high temperatures are around 35 °C.For travel outside the city, there is a bus station called "Terminal de Transportes" (to be replaced by a new one), the Camilo Daza International Airport (Colombia) and the San Antonio Airport (Venezuela). Eighty years ago the city had the "Railroad of Cúcuta", which connected with Venezuela.
